Fellowship Through Fig Leaf Forum Contact
Fellowship is an integral part
of Christian life. This is no less true for Christian nudists and naturists
than for other believers. Many of us feel the need to intentionally seek
out like-minded Christians in an effort to supplement the existing fellowship
we enjoy with those who don't share our unique interests. In order to help
in this search the newsletter offers Fig Leaf Forum Contact, a service
intended to facilitate Christian fellowship among eligible subscribers.
Available since May of 1995 (and significantly upgraded in August of 2004),
Fig Leaf Forum Contact has been used by hundreds of readers to locate other
Christian nudists in North America and other parts of the world.
"In the time that I have been receiving Fig Leaf Forum's newsletter, I have made contact — or contact has been made with me — about eleven times. Of those with whom contact was attempted, I can honestly say I maintain a penpal correspondence with six of them, and also fellowship in person on occasion with four of them. Fig Leaf Forum Contact provides
access to both Personal and Group Profile lists. The screenshot below shows
profiles displayed by date added (left column) and by location (right column).
There are currently more than
580
Personal and Group Profiles in the Contact lists! See the Subscriber
Map for locations. More than 1,250 subscriber-to-subscriber
invitations for contact have been exchanged between newsletter readers
since August of 2004.
How Fig Leaf Forum Contact Works
Fig Leaf Forum Contact offers
newsletter subscribers a way to communicate with each other directly.
Click the Log In button at the top of this page to access
the Contact lists. Follow the link near the top of the Personal Profile
list to create your own profile (your Personal Profile must be posted before
you can attempt to contact others).
Once your Personal Profile
has been posted, send the Profile Number of a subscriber you would like
to contact to Fig Leaf Forum. Fig Leaf Forum will invite that subscriber
to review your profile. If they inform Fig Leaf Forum that they're interested
in being contacted by you, their e-mail address will be provided to you
and your e-mail address will be provided to them. You may then correspond
directly.
